rentmas 101: What is rentmas?

What exactly is the rentmas partner app?
Now that you know the gist of rentmas (and if you want to learn more, go here), let’s have a look at the partner app.
The rentmas partner app (currently available in German, Italian, and English) was created for the simple purpose of, well, making our partners’ workflow even more simple. It takes the essential rental elements of the rentmas platform and packages them into a super intelligent, easy-to-use app that allows rental partners to manage all of their rentals right from their phone or tablet. With a few taps, you can have your construction machines rented out in a matter of seconds.
The four elements of the rentmas partner app
When you open up the rentmas partner app, the dashboard features a menu with four buttons:
These four buttons give you access to the four necessary functions of the rentmas platform that allow you to navigate and manage your machines, giving you the tools to rent to your clients in a matter of seconds from wherever you are. At work. At the beach. In an aeroplane over the sea. If you’ve got an internet connection, you can rent out a machine.
How easy is the partner app to use? So easy.
1. Check your requests
There are four possibilities of action on the rentmas partner app. Let’s take a look at them, how to use them, and what the benefit is of each.
Clicking on this box brings you to a screen where you can view your pending rental requests, including if your machine that is being requested is currently available. From this screen you can also accept or decline any machine requests. The great advantage of this function is the intuitive motions and speed, making your rental request management efficient and taken care of in a matter of seconds.
Compared to the traditional way of rental request management, which involves lots of paperwork, emails, and phone calls, this is a giant leap in the direction of both time and work efficiency. Using the rentmas partner app is even significantly faster than using the rentmas platform.
With the platform, you receive an email for your requests and after which you can login and manage them. The app, on the other hand, sends a push notification directly to your device, and deals only with the necessary information to carry out the rental. The platform is a great resource to use if you need to see all of the specific details of the rental.
2. Recommend a machine
This function of the app was created based on feedback from our rental partners. The idea is to minimize the amount of work for the rental company, and allow new clients to easily come on board with no financial or time cost to the rental company.
If you have a new customer and have not already gone through the motions of all the paperwork and background checks, this button is for you. If you have potential customers you didn’t rent to in the past because it was too complicated, this button is for you!
What better way to save time and keep moving on with your day, while at the same time continuing to keep your machines constantly rented? By recommending your machines to customers. When you click this button, you can select any of your machines from the list and share a link to them.
The potential customer can then access the machine’s details on the rentmas platform, and then fill out the necessary documentation directly with rentmas to carry out the rental. This information will remain stored in the rentmas system, so any later rentals will also be easier for the customer.
You will then receive a rental request, which once accepted, the rental process will begin immediately. Finally, the rental is secured with rentmas’s protocol of payment in advance.
3. Quick request
This button is exactly what it sells itself as: a quick and simplified way to request a machine. It lets you get directly in touch with the rentmas team, either by text or voice message, to make a request for a machine, all directly from the app. Yes, that’s right, you can write us and even send us a voice message! Your very own messenger app integrated into the rentmas partner app, with a direct line to us. What more could you ask for?
This direct and fast contact with the rentmas office guarantees both a more professional collaboration, and gets your request into the system immediately, no emails back and forth necessary. Perhaps you are looking for a machine you’ve never rented before, or one that is extremely specific and not yet on the rentmas platform, in which case we might have to turn to some more serious research to find the right machine for you.
4. Update your availability
For those moments when proactive renting and reserving of machines is a must, this function is the one to turn to. This can be great for imminent snowstorms or floods and getting all machines on deck for clearing snow or pumping water. Or maybe you have some machines in your yard for a few months and you want to get the most out of their time there. You can use the ‘Update your availability’ function to give a push to these machines, or to make certain machines unavailable.
The rentmas team may also ask from time to time if some of your construction machines are available for the very same reason. You’ll get a push notification asking if a certain machine is available, to which you can simply respond yes or no, giving us the possibility to have priority for an upcoming rental need.
This all said, this function doesn’t need to be used on a regular basis, but only in special circumstances. Think of it as an ace in your pocket. When you need to initiate or stop the flow of a rental for a specific need, this button will get it done for you.

The rentmas partner app was created for the rentmas rental partner in mind. The idea is that you have more direct and immediate control over your rentals. This translates into a smoother flow of rentals, faster response times, and ultimately more rentals, leading to higher profit margins.
